Twisted Ear - born in spring 2006 - is an internet playground for music lovers to gambol and frolic in. We provide the reviews, news and features, and you provide your views and the debate.

We cover the latest album releases - basically, if it's relevant, it will be reviewed.   Not current?  Still relevant? Then we'll review it in our 'Hearing Aid' section, which is where our team of reviewers will force albums close to their hearts on you like used car salesmen. This is the review bread mopping up the musical gravy: hidden gems, buried treasures or releases falling off the critical radar that we feel deserve a second chance.

Weekly features also form part of Twisted Ear's armoury - from hot topics and artist profiles to retrospectives and random thoughts.  Occasionally our reviewers are allowed out on day release, and on such occasions - rather than be a danger to the public - they are despatched to review live gigs and will report their findings back on the site.

Oh, and we're nosey buggers at Twisted Ear, so all the breaking news and 'need to know' info is constantly updated, keeping you as up to speed as somebody with three mobile phones.

All the content on Twisted Ear has room for comment - if you like something, tell us, and do likewise if you disagree with something.  And if you want to take the debate outside into the virtual pub car park then the 'Earache' forum is just the place to joust and jab your opinions.  It's Twisted Ear's belligerent little brother - just the place for you to get on your soapbox and mouth-off about all things music and non-music.

So that's it.  But would we want to wash our hands of any improvements and rest on laurels?  Oh no siree!  Like a bacofoil-suited Doc Brown prancing around a flying DeLorean, we've seen the future - and whilst it is bright, it can always be better.  So if you have any  feedback or suggestions to improve the site, or if you would like to write for us, then This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
