Coldplay to release quick follow-up album?

ColdplayIn a move quite reminiscent of Radiohead's double salvo of Kid A and Amnesiac, Coldplay are also set to release their next album in quick succession to the forthcoming Viva La Vida. And it will feature Kylie.

With Viva La Vida to be released next week, Coldplay have revealed that a second album, taken from the same sessions, is also being readied.

Included on the second set, according to the band, will be the Kylie collaboration of Lunar, and a vocal version of the instrumental and Viva La Vida opener, Life In Technicolor.

Speaking to Q Radio, Chris Martin confirmed: "We're putting out a record at the end of next year. It will neatly wrap things up for the end of the decade."
