Courtney Love scraps album

Never one for fitful knee-jerk reactions, Courtney Love has decided to bin off an entire album, preferring instead to continue collaborating former Larrikin Love guitarist Micko Larkin.

The album that has been scrapped saw Love pair up with songwriter-for-hire Linda Perry, who had previously co-written Love's 2004 album America's Sweetheart. However, Love now seeks further work with Micko Larkin.

Larkin was part of a group of musicians recruited by Love to play on the final sessions of the rejected album.
