Damon Albarn attacks EMI

He feels he's being ignored by his label, the poor lamb. From the sound of it, seems Damon just wants a few more friends to tell him how great he is and blow some more smoke up his ass.

Damon Albarn has had a pop at his label EMI for "ignoring" him, ever since new owner Guy Hands took charge.

Albarn revealed that since the reshuffle he has received a crate of champagne, but has not had anyone verbally contact him at all.

Speaking to The Word, Albarn declared: "I don't want their champagne. I want to wander down the office, have a cup of tea and talk about music. If they're not interested, then maybe they should let me go."
