In what what can only be described as a 'good move', the BBC have recruited Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett to design the channel's opening titles to their Olympic coverage.
The two-minute title sequence, for which the pair have also written the music, features the animated characters of Monkey, Pigsy and Sandy travelling to Beijing, the city hosting this year's Olympic Games. The characters are taken from the Chinese folklore story of Monkey, this traditional tale was also turned into an opera recently by Hewlett and Albarn. (0) comments - discuss in the forum |
