Domino to curate at the Underage Festival
Written by Mark Thompson
Bonde Do RoleIn a bid to switch on the next generation to the latest hip sounds, Domino Records - who themselves hit the giddy heights of being 15 years old in 2008 - will be hosting a stage at this year's Underage Festival.

The event takes place at London's Victoria Park on Friday 8th August, and the label have already announced which of their acts will get the whippersnappers in a tizz. Bonde Do Role will be headlining the Domino stage, with ample support provided by Eugene McGuinness, Wild Beasts, The Count & Sinden, White Williams, Four Tet and Sons & Daughters.

Domino founder Laurence Bell spoke of his excitement in participating at the event: "Underage is by its very nature the coolest festival in existence right now. Domino was very flattered to be the only label invited to curate a stage. We must be doing something right. And we’re not allowed to attend, which is even cooler."

The second year of the Underage Festival will also see performances from the likes of Gallows, Foals, The Horrors, The Rascals and The Maccabees.

Sounds pretty tempting, yes? But before you binge drink your way over to Victoria Park, Twisted Ear has to get all parental on your asses by informing you that the event is restricted strictly to the 14 to 18 years only.

Tickets for the event cost £23 plus booking fee.
