First names for Latitude Festival announced

Three early acts have been named for Latitude, with the event headliners to be revealed this evening (March 23rd). They like to tease don't they?

Doves, Editors and Bat For Lashes are the first names on the Latitude festival bill for 2009. The acts were announced on BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat.

Tickets for the event go on sale this evening (March 23rd) at 7pm, at which time the event headliners will also be named.

The festival takes place in Southwold, Suffolk over the course of July 16th to 19th.

Tickets will be available via the official festival site.
