It's taking place tonight, and now that news has ruptured across the internet it's not so secretive. Maybe the news is enough for punters to snap up the remaining 800 festival tickets. Or maybe the already mud-drenched site put pay to those ideas.
Franz Ferdinand have announced via their own website that they will be playing a special, unbilled set at Glastonbury this evening (June 27th). The band are expected to take to perform at 10pm on the Park Stage. Not got tickets to the festival? Don't worry as Kapranos and co. will be playing a further pair of dates over the weekend: June 28 - Cardiff The Point 29 - Leeds Faversham In other Glastonbury news, in order to ensure maximum take-up, the festival organizers have announced that they will put on sale day tickets for the final day of the event (June 29th). The Sunday day tickets will be priced at £50 each. (0) comments - discuss in the forum |
