Friendly Fires and Basement Jaxx named for Big Chill 2009

The next string of acts have been named alongside el-egg-tronica masterminds Orbital. El-egg-tronica. Eggs. Orbital. No hair. As bald as. Yes?!! Oh forget it, you morbid shits!

Following on from the recent news that Orbital will be reuniting for the Big Chill 2009, comes details of the next wave of acts to grace the event.

Over August 7th - 9th 2009, sees Friendly Fires, Basement Jaxx and Calexico joining the throng. Also mucking in to deliver the good times are Norman Jay, Pharaoh Sanders and Ludovico Einaudi.

More acts are due to be announced in the coming months.

Tickets for the festival, which takes place at Ledbury in Herefordshire, went on sale yesterday (December 1st).
