A festival that sees the return of Doves, no doubt showcasing material from their long awaited fourth album, and the even mightier return of Edwyn Collins, one of his first live performances following his cerebral hemorrhage.
As a celebration of eighteen years in operation, Heavenly Records will be putting on a three-day festival over three London venues in September. The festival takes place over September 12th to 14th and will take in performances from the label's roster. Festival dates: September 12 - London Royal Festival Hall - Doves, Cherry Ghost plus Very Special Guests 13 - Queen Elizabeth Hall - The Magic Numbers, Beth Orton, Pete Greenwood 13 - Purcell Room - Edwyn Collins, The Rockingbirds, The Loose Salute 14 - Queen Elizabeth Hall - Saint Etienne, Little Ones, Dot Allison 14 - Purcell Room - Nada Surf, Jaymay, Dr Robert Tickets for the shows go on sale today (July 24th).
