Released on October 6th is the new Jay Reatard album, Matador Singles '08. The album combines all the Memphis firebrand's singles released through the Matador label.

The compilation follows last month's Singles 06-07 album that showcased Reatard's efforts on the In The Red label.

The Matador equivalent gathers up the six limited edition releases from Reatard this year - including those already released and those 'to be' released. The set will also feature his cover of Deerhunter's Oh, It's Such A Shame, along with a bonus track, I'm Watching You.

Single number 5 from the six single set is birthed on August 19th, with the final single following shortly after.
