| Kraftwerk and Fleet Foxes for Bestival |
| Written by Mark Thompson | |
For a festival which endorses an annual fancy dress theme for it's revellers - this year it's 'Outer Space' - it seems fitting that Kraftwerk and their futuristic tech-pop have been crowned as headliner. Less apt for the sci-fi celebrations is Fleet Foxes, although ET in a beard, cheesecloth flares and moccasins would be a sight to behold.
Bestival have revealed the some of its line-up for this year's festival. Organized by Rob Da Bank, the event takes place at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight from September 11th to 13th. Germany's Kraftwerk have been named as the headliner for the Saturday night (12th Sept), with Massive Attack in the top slot for the Friday night (11th Sept). Other acts announced for the event include Fleet Foxes, MGMT, Bat For Lashes, Seasick Steve, Klaxons, Michael Nyman, The Beat, Squarepusher, Future Sound Of London, Florence & The Machine, Little Boots, Friendly Fires, Passion Pit and Hockey. As mentioned, the fancy dress theme for this year's Bestival is 'Outer Space', ticket details are available via the official festival site. (0) comments - discuss in the forum |
