The album, entitled That Lucky Old Sun, will be released on September 1st. It saw Wilson again join up with Van Dyke Parks, who has contributed four narrative pieces for the album. The set also takes in eleven new songs and a spoken word section.

Wilson first performed the new material, which is based on his childhood, at London's Royal Festival Hall in 2007.
