Although previously only hinted at, the new record from The Boss now has more concrete details, like a title and release date.
Released in North America on January 27th, the album will be entitled Working on a Dream and features Springsteen alongside the E Street Band. Production on the album was handled by Brendan O'Brien, who performed the task on Springsteen's 2007 album Magic. The E Street Band recorded their parts during breaks from touring. Speaking to Billboard, Springsteen revealed that the album has a more spontaneous feel: "All the songs were written quickly - we usually used one of our first few takes." The album features twelve new songs, along with two bonus tracks - one The Wrestler, taken from the forthcoming Mickey Rourke movie of the same name and A Night With The Jersey Devil, a song that was given away free online over Halloween. The tracklisting is as follows: Outlaw Pete My Lucky Day Working On A Dream Queen Of The Supermarket What Love Can Do This Life Good Eye Tomorrow Never Knows Life Itself Kingdom of Days Surprise, Surprise The Last Carnival Bonus tracks: The Wrestler A Night With the Jersey Devil (0) comments - discuss in the forum |
