Fancy spending a night in on the sofa with Nick Cave? Whadda do you mean you used to fancy him but now that his hair's started thinning he's lost a bit of his charm? Rest easy, this isn't that type of date, but a night of tv programming dedicated to the man himself.
BBC 4 have given a night of their schedules over to celebrating Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds. The night kicks off at 9pm on July 4th with an hour-long concert recorded at LSO St. Luke's in London. It will be followed by an 1999 documentary that features Cave performing alongside John Cale and Chrissie Hynde, and a compilation of Cave's appearances to date on the Later... series, which includes a duet with Shane MacGowan. In other Bad Seed news, the band will release their new single Midnight Man, and a book of Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!! on July 28th. (0) comments - discuss in the forum |
