Talk about influential, if I were Lars Ulrich, and I listened to Oasis for life's answers, I'd be pretty sure they'd inspire me to cut off my own ears.
Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has revealed that Noel Gallagher's route to quitting drugs inspired him to stop using cocaine. "It was literally something that happened one morning, a couple of years ago," Ulrich announced to The Quietus. "I was 'Enough of this, I don't need it.'" He went on to add: "I was very impressed with Noel Gallagher. I'm an Oasis fanatic and, in '98, Noel had gone 'You know what? No more cocaine!' I thought if he could do it, everybody else could."
