 Usually when music stars get a bit of wedge, they treat themselves to helicopter lessons, a Swiss retreat or packing their conk with kilos of Bolivian sweetener off a night-lady's boobies. Portishead's Geoff Barrow has gone for the high-brow approach, and opened his own art gallery.
Geoff Barrow, aided by a business partner, has opened an art gallery in Bristol. Entitled Friend & Co. the gallery is more of an art space, with the onus by Barrow to provide a platform for art outside the mainstream, or 'outsider art' as he puts it. The gallery is located in Bristol and is currently showcasing work by The Horrors frontman Faris Badwan.  (0) comments - discuss in the forum |
