| Ryan Adams' twin album assault |
| Written by Mark Thompson | |
It seems as though Ryan Adams has been keeping himself busy in the music world of late. Just when we'd gotten used to hearing about him releasing a collection of poetry, and then subsequently blubbing like a baby in his blog after Drowned In Sound poked a bit of fun at the concept, he's got two new albums up his lyrical sleeves.
First out of the traps will be Cardinology, a new album by Ryan Adams & The Cardinals which will be released on October 27th. The set will be the follow-up to 2005's Jacksonville City Lights, and the album will be released solely under the name Cardinals. Ryan Adams and the Cardinals tour the UK from November 10th onwards. Meanwhile, Adams has been busying himself also with a new solo album, the first since last year's Easy Tiger. Details on the set are scant at the moment apart from Adams' outlining it as "an old-school crooner record". (0) comments - discuss in the forum |
