Santigold's Beastie Boys and David Byrne hook-up

Santogold. Schmantogold. Lawsuit threats from a Baltimore jeweller named Santo Gold may have enforced a quick vowel substitution on the name, but things look nothing but bright for the freshly dubbed Santigold.

Billboard has reported that singer-songwriter Santigold has been providing guest vocals on forthcoming albums by the Beastie Boys and David Byrne. Alongside her hired lung duties, she's also been collaborating with Pharrell on new material.

Bee-like busy indeed, as Santigold is also gearing up for a spring time headlining tour - her first with a full backing band.
