| Suicide to support Grinderman at London date |
| Written by Mark Thompson | |
Legendary post-punk trailblazers Suicide have been added as support to Nick Cave's Grinderman London date. Is 'post-punk' just a polite way of saying 'synth-pop', in a way that doesn't make you think of the Pet Shop Boys? Who cares, this show be tasty.
Grinderman play the Forum in London on June 20th, with Alan Vega and co. named to play alongside them. They will also be joined on the bill by Seasick Steve. The show has been advertised as a sell-out from official ticket vendors, so either take a punt on the touts or press a glass to the venue wall and have a listen. It has also been announced that Grinderman will perform at Madison Square Gardens in New York on July 24th with fellow blues manglers The White Stripes. The band will follow this date with three more Stateside in Chicago and San Francisco. (0) comments - discuss in the forum |
