| The Rascals look for Super Furry help |

Taking a leaf out of his Shadow Puppet pal's book, Miles Kane has followed Alex Turner's precedent in electing for a musician as producer: Arctic Monkeys opted for Josh Homme, and The Rascals plumped for Gruff Rhys.
Super Furry Animals' Gruff Rhys is to take on the role of producer for the new album by The Rascals. Miles Kane, singer with both The Rascals and The Last Shadow Puppets, explained to 6 Music: "We're going to try some stuff with Gruff. I'm very excited to see where we go with it, and he's a nice fella. The new songs are quite fresh-sounding, quite Lennon and T Rex-like. It's got a bit of a summer vibe to it as well, it's quite different." The album will be the follow-up to 2008's Rascalize. (0) comments - discuss in the forum |
