Fancy yourself as a bit of a music journo?

Want to rate or slate the latest releases? Itching to get out there and interview people? Cover gigs? Vent your spleen about what you don't like, extol the virtues of what you do?

You're in luck: Twisted Ear is looking for writers. You don't necessarily need experience, but you do need talent and a bit of music savvy.

And it's not just album reviewers that we're looking for. We want to bolster the team with the following:

- Crafty newshounds who can help us turn out a daily news-blast.

- Frontline gig reviewers with enough blind ambition to brave the moshpit at your local Flea and Catnip, a festival mudbath or a enormo-dome sponsorship blizzard all for the sake of journalistic integrity.

- Feature writers with opinion passionate and strong enough to cause global unrest.

The website doesn't make any money, so we can't pay you - but we can offer you free CDs, gig tickets and the chance to grill your favourite (and not-so-favourite) musicians. All of which is going to look lovely on your CV, no?

Interested? You don’t need experience, just passion and talent.  Send us some samples of your music-related published work, if you have any. We ask that all submissions are at least 500 words and no more than 1000 words. If you don't have any published work, then send us a review of an album from your collection that's not already on the site - we will publish it if your application is successful.
