Maybe that's a bit provocative a title for this thread considering what the link below is about but I like to mix it up a little.

I know there are some ladies here and I don't mean to be a heartless pig but I think there's most certainly some comedy value in the fact that Jade Goody has cervical cancer.

Am I a bad person?

As soon as I heard the news this morning I thought, "publicity stunt."  Does that make me a bad person?

Coincidentally, she's currently appearing on an Indian equivalent of BB alongside Shilpa Shetty.

If everything is kosher (pig.... kosher..... wokka wokka!) and it is true then I hope she gets out of it okay. However, I can't shake off the feeling that this may be an attempt at career resurrection, or simply just the way the media/celebrity works.

Nope - I did too.

Funny thing about Cervical Cancer is how common it is and how (comparitivley) some kinds are very easily treated... it's still the big C though... if I were the ignorant masses, I'd pity her (!)

I wanna see the footage where they called here into the diary room and big brother said: "Goodness gracious me, Jade Goodings, you are having the Cancer."

Maybe not.

to anyone who is a remotely sentient being, there is huge difference between cynicism about goody and her illness (and more specifically its reporting/promotional management [shall we have a doctor tell the world about it? nah, get max]) and 'laughing at cancer / someone who has cancer'.

one of the red tops had some quote on the front today where she was bemoaning losing her womb, and i couldnt help smiling to myself that at least the bloodline would stop now- she is surely, as bill hicks used to say, one of those who needs to cut down on their rutting!!!

Divine Retribution is the perfect justice of God played out where God pays back every sinner exactly as their sins deserve. The evil they bring upon others is brought back upon their own heads as an eternal payback for their evildoing.
The only escape from God's retribution is through the sacrificial death of the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ, who willingly offered Himself as a substitute, taking the just punishment of God for the sins of the world upon Himself, so all could be freely forgiven as gift, through faith.
